Terms of Service

1. About SitSure

SitSure is a platform that connects home owners with trusted house, pet, and plant sitters in South Africa. We provide a directory service that allows sitters to list their services and home owners to find and contact suitable sitters in their area.

2. For Home Owners

Home owners can browse sitter profiles for free. To unlock a sitter's contact details, a once-off payment of R250 is required. This payment grants permanent access to that sitter's contact information.

SitSure acts solely as a directory service. We do not employ sitters, nor do we guarantee their services. Home owners are responsible for conducting their own due diligence, including verifying references and agreeing on terms directly with sitters.

3. For Sitters

Sitters can create a profile on SitSure for a monthly subscription of R79, which includes listing in up to 3 areas. Sitters are responsible for the accuracy of their profile information, including testimonials, photos, and references.

Sitters operate as independent service providers. SitSure does not control how sitters perform their services or set their rates.

4. User Conduct

All users agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Not misuse the platform for fraudulent purposes
• Treat other users with respect and professionalism
• Not share contact details obtained through SitSure with third parties

5. Limitation of Liability

SitSure is a directory service only. We are not liable for any disputes, damages, losses, or issues arising from arrangements made between home owners and sitters. Users engage with each other at their own risk.

6. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
